Type of Information we process and sources
PeopleStrong can process information about you collected both offline and online.
Offline Information about you originates from our interaction with you during in-person meeting or PeopleStrong events, workshop, conferences etc.
Online Information about you originates from your activities on our sites for example subscription, your interaction with PeopleStrong via email, telephone etc. Information about you may also be provided by third party sources, such as data aggregators who may not have a relationship with you.
Information about you that we may collect and process includes:
name and physical address, email addresses, and telephone numbers;
photographs and testimonials;
transactional data, including products and services ordered, financial details and payment methods;
company data such as the name, size and location of the company you work for and your role within the company;
unique IDs such as your mobile device identifier or cookie ID on your browser;
IP address and information that may be derived from IP address, such as geographic location;
information about a device you use, such as browser, device type, operating system, the presence or use of “apps", screen resolution, and the preferred language;

PeopleStrong may use information about you to notify you about new product releases and service developments, events, alerts, updates, prices, terms, special offers and associated campaigns and promotions (including via newsletters). PeopleStrong may also use personal information to advertise its products and services or related products and services, and also to have our distributors, resellers or partners notify you about our products or services or their related products or services (such as via joint sales or product promotions).
If you attend an event, PeopleStrong may process information about you gathered in relation to the event and can share information about your attendance with your company.

If you place an order for our products and services, or if you provide services to PeopleStrong, our employees, customers or partners as a supplier or business partner, PeopleStrong processes information about you to engage in and administer the relevant transactions (such as by sending invoices and making payments), administer your order, and help you get started and adopt our products and services.
To analyse, develop, improve and optimise the use, function and performance of our sites and products and services
We may process personal information in order to analyse, develop, improve and optimise the use, function and performance of our sites and products and services, as well as marketing and sales campaigns. In case the sites permit you to participate in interactive discussions, create a profile, post comments, opportunities or other content, or communicate directly with another user or otherwise engage in networking activities, PeopleStrong may process personal information when moderating these activities.
To manage the security of our sites, networks and systems
We may collect site use data for security and operations management to help keep our sites, networks and systems secure, or to investigate and prevent potential fraud, including ad fraud and cyber-attacks and to detect bots.
To comply with applicable laws and regulations and to operate our business
In some cases, we have to process personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations. For example, to respond to a request from a regulator or to defend a legal claim. We may also process personal information in the performance and operation of our business, such as to conduct internal audits and investigations or for finance and accounting and archiving and insurance purposes.

Information about you we collect to engage in transactions with our customers, suppliers and business partners, and to process purchases of our products and services, will be retained for the duration of the transaction or services period, or longer as necessary for record retention and legal compliance purposes.
If you have registered for a PeopleStrong account, your account information will be retained for as long as you maintain an active account. Your account and account information will be deleted if you do not log in for 3 consecutive months. PeopleStrong retains records of that deletion for maximum 90 days
If you have registered for our newsletters and blogs your subscription data will be retained for as long as you are subscribed to our distribution lists. post
Contact information such as your email address or phone number collected online on our sites or offline from our interactions with you at PeopleStrong events and conferences, and used for direct marketing and sales activities will be retained for as long as we have an active (customer) relationship with you.
If you have reached out to us via PeopleStrong chat, we will delete all chat transcripts post mitigation of our business purpose.
PeopleStrong may share information with PeopleStrong affiliates, and third-party service providers or vendors contracted to provide services on our behalf. These third-party service providers or vendors may use information we provide to them only as instructed by PeopleStrong.
PeopleStrong may offer the following solely or jointly with third parties or partners: webinars, events, whitepaper downloads, or other services related to PeopleStrong offerings or services. We may share your contact information and interests in these offerings or services with these approved third parties to communicate with you about PeopleStrong.
When you attend an event (either sponsored by PeopleStrong or one where PeopleStrong is a participating vendor) and have your badge scanned, your information will be shared with PeopleStrong, as well as with any partner or third party participating in that event, and potentially with the entity sponsoring your attendance at the event. For example, if your badge is scanned as you attend a session at a PeopleStrong-sponsored conference, PeopleStrong and any co-presenters will have access to that information to understand who was in attendance, and potentially follow up with you on relevant products or services. If you do not want your information shared with PeopleStrong or partners in this manner, do not have your badge scanned. If your badged is scanned by a partner or a third party at an event, your information will be governed by that party’s privacy statement.
PeopleStrong may disclose information if we have a good faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal processes; (b) protect and defend our rights or property; (c) enforce the website Terms and Conditions; and/or (d) act to protect the interests of our users or others.
If PeopleStrong goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personal information may be among the assets transferred.
Without a common industry or legal standard for interpreting Do Not Track (DNT) signals, PeopleStrong does not respond to browser DNT signals. We will continue to monitor further development of a DNT standard by the privacy community and industry.
Personal information collected by PeopleStrong may be stored and processed in the India or in any other country where PeopleStrong or its affiliates, subsidiaries, or third-party service providers maintain facilities. When you provide personal information to PeopleStrong, you consent to the processing and transfer of your information within the India and around the world. We follow applicable data protection laws when transferring personal information.
PeopleStrong privacy practices, described in this Privacy Statement, comply with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation ('APEC') Cross-Border Privacy Rules ('CBPR') System. The APEC CBPR system provides a framework for organisations to ensure protection of personal information transferred among participating APEC economies.
PeopleStrong has implemented appropriate technical, physical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, damage, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, as well as all other forms of unlawful processing.

The Licensee hereby acknowledges that the Licensor stores the data relating to the Licensor and its clients (including the Licensee) on a cloud storage platform called “Amazon Web Services” (“Cloud Partner”). The Licensor will be responsible for its own information technology as well infrastructure, but the other terms and conditions as regards the cloud storage platform will be governed by the Cloud Partner. As regards data protection, the terms and conditions available at https://aws.amazon.com/service-terms/ will be applicable.
PeopleStrong will store the data till the agreement with the client is active. Upon termination of the agreement PeopleStrong will retain such data and information which is mandatory to be retained for audit purpose as per applicable law, rest all data will be given back to the client.
Intellectual property and all other proprietary rights will have the broadest possible meaning for the purpose of this Agreement and include, without limitation, all patent rights, copyrights, trademarks, rights relating to the protection of trade secrets and confidential information, and any right similar to any of the foregoing.
The title and related rights in the content accessed through the Software is the sole property of the PeopleStrong. The title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in Software, including any modifications, improvements, updates, versions, etc. thereof is and shall remain solely vested with the PeopleStrong. Client acknowledges such ownership and intellectual property rights and agrees that it will not take any action to jeopardise, limit or interfere in any manner with Licensor’s ownership of or rights with respect to Software.
Client shall not use or allow any employee, agent or third party to use or exploit the PeopleStrong’s trademarks or copyright or patent or design or any other intellectual property rights (including publicity material) without the prior written permission of the PeopleStrong.
No rights in or to the Services or Software installed are hereby granted or intended to be granted to the Client, except the limited right to use and access the Software as agreed to between the Parties.
Subject to the rights expressly granted to the Client under this Agreement, Client shall not be entitled to make or cause to be made any additions, alterations, modifications, analyses, comments, observations, abstracts or extracts of, or copy, reproduce, in any manner whatsoever, to the Software provided under this Agreement. Client shall indemnify Licensor and Licensor’s employees, officers and agents against any loss suffered by all or any of them, in the event of a breach of this Section.
Without prejudice to any other rights or remedies that any Party may have, the client (for itself and on behalf of its Related Persons) acknowledges and agrees that damages alone would not be an adequate remedy for any breach of the provisions of this Agreement. The Client acknowledges without proof of actual damages that injunctive relief, specific performance or other equitable relief as may be deemed proper by a court of competent jurisdiction in favour of PeopleStrong is an appropriate and necessary remedy for breach of the terms of this Agreement.
The Client agrees, to indemnify PeopleStrong and its Related Persons for any costs, claims, demands, liabilities and expenses of whatever nature that such member may incur arising directly or indirectly out of a breach of the Client’s or Related Party’s obligations under this Agreement.
The PeopleStrong Cloud Platform allows partners and developers to build applications independent of PeopleStrong. Before using these applications, please review the relevant privacy statement and terms of service.
When you are using a PeopleStrong mobile application, PeopleStrong may obtain information from or access data stored on your device, to provide services related to the relevant mobile application. PeopleStrong uses this information to deliver requested application services, to continue to improve our mobile applications, and to facilitate event participation, such as providing event schedules and the opportunity to connect with event attendees. For example, when you are using a PeopleStrong mobile application, we may access your camera to allow you to upload photographs to the mobile service; access your calendar, social media, and contact information to allow you to interact with other event attendees; or access the geographic location of your device to enable you to identify nearby contacts. PeopleStrong may also collect information from your usage of the mobile application to improve events and services, communicate with you about the event and relevant products and services, and for security purposes.
You may configure PeopleStrong mobile applications, and this configuration will affect how information from your device is accessed and obtained in the mobile application.
We reserve the right to change or update this Privacy Statement at any time. Changes to the Privacy Statement will be posted on this website and links to the Privacy Statement will indicate that the statement has been changed or updated. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Statement for any changes. For new users, changes or updates are effective upon posting.
