There was a time when employees would have to wait for a simple answer to their query on, say, something as simple as their leave balance or details on different company policies. With collaboration tools gaining ground, those days are long gone. Today, AI-powered conversational platforms are enabling on-demand assistance to employees- anytime, anywhere.
One of the most riveting changes that we have seen in the world of work is perhaps work itself. Did you imagine five-six years ago that people might like to leave the comfort of their cubicles and chairs and prefer to work from a cafe right down the street? And that your managers would be comfortable passing the ownership of a deliverable their jobs depend on, to a person working out of a never-heard-of city from a far-off country?
Technology has been rapidly changing our world of work. Every facet of the talent landscape is being impacted by technology tools from talent acquisition to talent management. We all understand that optimal use of technology will enable more intimate and hum an interactions across various talent processes while also enhancing our ability to capture information, identify trends, and make efficient decisions.

Recent surge in different areas of Artificial Intelligence like Natural Language Processing and Sentiment Analysis have made popular the use of chatbots in softwares, websites and apps. Chatbots have become the most favoured user interface. While initially popularised only as Personal Assistants, chatbots are now disrupting many industries and revolutionising the way they function.
Mumbai, Dec 7 (PTI) Human resources solutions and technology company PeopleStrong today launched chatbot Jinie, which aims to shift HR from a transactional interface with employees to a conversational interface that is engaging and impactful.
Jinie will be like an employees personal worklife assistant who can help in solving any HR related query, the company said in a release issued here.
