HT Shine HR Summit, organized by Hindustan Times and Shine.com recognizes measures which HR professionals have adopted to positively impact productivity.
In his presentation Ankur addressed the problems faced by the recruitment industry in India and the need for a solution that would help map the jobs and the talent availability at any given pincode.Articulating that in the coming years India’s top jobs would revolve around Sales/ Customer care profile, Engineers and IT profile, Nursing and healthcare profile and Retail and Security profile.This would require either the employee’s relocation at these pincodes or would need the employees themselves coming from these pincodes. Hence the need for a Talent Stock exchange, not an Employment exchange, to assess the talent and assign assessment scores at an industry level. Accepting the award Ankur said, “ The Indian recruitment industry is worth US$ 5 billion and not much innovation has happened in this area. I am confident that the Pincoding solution developed by us is a beginning that will not only enhance the process & technology of recruitment but also the channels and sources of recruitment.”
