Best Companies to Work for - A BT-Indicus-PeopleStrong 9th Annual Survey of India's Best Employers

The 9th annual study of Best Companies to work for is out. The study conducted by Business Today in association with PeopleStrong and Indicus is based on a survey more than 8,500 respondents in more than 1,000 organizations across 800 locations.

This study drastically overhauls the methodology used from such studies done earlier. Instead of employer driven route, the study took an employee driven route and used a structured questionnaire. This ensured that voice of employees across companies in India was heard. The methodology took into account that not only present, but past and aspiring future employees are taken into account to decide the ranking of the companies. As the study had PAN INDIA reach, with large number of companies as part of the universe, it enabled us to pick out the best 25 companies and also sector specific companies.

In the process of arriving at who are the best companies to work, the study also highlights and analyses the HR best practices and its evolution in India. PeopleStrong’s Co-founder and CEO answers the 5 most critical questions regarding the human resource function of an organization and talks about the direction, human resource department must take to ensure that an organization becomes a better place to work for.
