CII & PeopleStrong are organising Seminar on "Innovative Hiring Strategies" on 4th April at India Habitat Centre

The National Seminar on “Innovative Hiring Strategies” organized by CII on 4th April 2008 at The India Habitat Centre was a grand success. The seminar saw enthusiastic participation from 150 delegates across Industries and various parts of India.

The subject saw immense deliberation and debate, resulting in the outcome of remarkable ideas and thoughts. The speakers were eminent practitioners from the industry. This seminar provided the much required common platform wherein thought leaders could meet industry stalwarts and implementers to share guidelines for Organisational success. The distinguished speakers shared the methodologies and experiences of their respective organisations in implementing Innovative Hiring Strategies. These ideas have been collated in this 'Compendium of Learnings' which compiles all the speakers' thoughts in various sessions.

The day was divided into five sessions, namely: Talent landscape, Talent Sourcing strategies, Hiring for Retention, Mass and Class Hiring, and Global Hiring.

This seminar proved to be a great learning experience for the delegates too. The one strong message that came out was that innovation is contextual and not replicable. However, Since one size doesn't fit all, the takeaways from this seminar can be used to understand the medley of practices as discussed by the speakers.
